The hotel room had a bad smell that didn't live up to the name of Comfort Inn. It was uncomfortably hot upon arrival, and the odor of stale cigarettes lingered. On the positive side, having a ground floor room with outside access made it easy to handle luggage.

I had a flight to catch at 6:00 a.m., so I asked for a ground floor room for easy loading/unloading of the car. The hotel's location was great, close to the highway, a shopping center, and many restaurants. The food was good for a great morning starter before our trip, and accessing Highway 1 was convenient, though not too far from downtown.
